Privacy Policy

SureGrounds provides scheduling, invoicing, payments, and field-operations software for lawn care and field-service businesses. This policy describes what we collect and how we use it, both from the businesses that subscribe to SureGrounds (“tenants”) and from their customers who interact with quotes, invoices, booking sites, and the customer portal.

Account & business data: your name, email, business name, and the operational records you create — customers, properties, jobs, quotes, invoices, notes, photos, and timesheets.

Customer data entered by tenants:names, addresses, emails, and phone numbers of a tenant's customers. Each tenant controls this data; we process it on their behalf.

Payment data: card details are collected and stored by Stripe, our payment processor — they never touch our servers. We store only payment status, amounts, and Stripe references.

Location data: property addresses are geocoded, and crew check-ins record job-site presence, to power routing and scheduling features.

To run the product: scheduling, route optimization, weather-based flags, notifications (booking confirmations, reminders, payment reminders), invoicing, and payments. AI-assisted features (such as arrival briefs) send relevant job and note text to our AI provider to generate the output you requested; that data is not used to train models.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use tenant or customer data for third-party advertising.

If you opt in, a business using SureGrounds may send you service-related text messages — such as appointment confirmations, reminders, “technician on the way” alerts, schedule changes, invoices, and secure payment links. You opt in by providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive texts on a request or booking form, or verbally when you schedule service. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

Message frequency varies with your service activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or reply HELP for help.

We do not share your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is used only to deliver the messages described above, through our SMS delivery provider.

We rely on a small set of processors to run SureGrounds: cloud hosting and database infrastructure, Stripe (payments and billing), email delivery providers, SMS delivery (only if a tenant enables texting), Google Maps Platform (geocoding and routing), Anthropic (AI features), weather data providers (which receive location coordinates only, never names or contact details), and error-monitoring services (which are configured not to collect personal information). Each receives only the data needed for its function.

We keep data for as long as an account is active. If a subscription ends, the tenant's data is retained so the account can be reactivated; tenants may request deletion at any time. You can request a copy, correction, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us. If you are a customer of a business that uses SureGrounds, we may direct your request to that business, since they control your records.
